Jesuit Dallas Athletics

Robert J. Black was quarterback on three TCIL State Championship teams, including the undefeated and untied 1959 team. He was named TCIL All-State after both his junior and senior years and was team captain in his senior year.
 
Black also lettered three years in baseball as a pitcher and an outfielder and was named Honorable Mention All-State in 1961. After graduation, Black attended Texas Tech University on a football scholarship.
