Platt secured a win at second-flight singles to aid the Ranger effort against Plano West in the team's season-opener on August 28. The junior secured a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Ethan Scribner, who entered the year ranked No. 32 in the state according to TennisRecruiting.net.
