Thanks to the unprecedented generosity of Rachel Segal, The David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center was officially blessed and dedicated in May 2021. The 28,000-square foot natatorium, affectionately known as “The Gull,” is one of the most striking architectural additions to the Jesuit campus and has created new opportunities for Jesuit students in and out of the classroom. The facility includes an eight-lane competition pool with chairback spectator seating for 250 guests, as well as a four-lane teaching/warm up pool. The Gull accommodates the latest advancements in video technology and serves a vast majority of Jesuit students through injury rehab, cross sports training, lifeguard certification, scuba certification, academic labs, and learn to swim programs.
