Spicer set a pair of new school records at the season-opening Under Armour H.S. Invitational, sprinting to a 7.09 in the 60-meter dash before running a 22.63 in the 200-meter dash. Spicer would earn a berth in the finals of both events after winning both of his preliminary heats.
