"Being a student-athlete is important to me because it gives me a purpose, I would much rather be improving myself and honing my skills rather than lay around in my free time. The balance of academics and athletics at Jesuit lies in time management solely. Even though being a student-athlete is demanding and mentally and physically exhausting, there is always enough time to get everything done and maintain both aspects of the student-athlete lifestyle."
