Jankovich averaged 21.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game during a five-game week for the Rangers, earning his third All-Tournament honor of the season at the In-and-Out Allen Holiday Invitational before helping the Rangers to a district opening win over Irving. The sophomore scored 15 points in the tournament opener against Grand Prairie before posting 20-point and 22-point performances against St. Mark’s and Plano East, respectively, on the second day of competition. Jankovich then scored 27 points, his second-best scoring output of the season, in the tournament championship game against Allen. The sophomore closed the week by scoring 13 of his 24 points in the first four minutes of Saturday’s district opener, helping the Rangers cruise to a win over the Tigers.
