Jesuit Dallas Athletics

Junior JJ Montenegro earned two wins in a 12-hour span, helping the Rangers back from a one-game deficit and into the UIL 6A Region II Final with a dramatic, Regional Semifinal series win over Oak Ridge.  Montenegro entered in relief during game two, throwing two innings of two-hit work, vaulting Jesuit to a 3-2, 11-inning win.  The following day, Montenegro held the War Eagles to four hits over 6.1 innings, striking out four batters en route to a 3-0 shutout win, moving his record to 6-5 on the year while vaulting Jesuit to a UIL Regional Final berth against Atascocita.
