Jesuit Dallas Athletics

Matt Upton '02 serves as the head rugby coach, along with being a member of the football coaching staff and mathematics department at Jesuit. He started at JCP prior to the 2018-19 academic year.

Jesuit’s rugby program captured the 2023 Rugby Texas Varsity Cup last season and finished the year with an 11-1 record.

In 2017, Upton was named to the Jesuit Sports Hall of Fame following a stellar collegiate and professional rugby career. Upton currently resides in Dallas with his wife, Daniela, and daughters, Charlotte and Sophia.
