A 14-0 sweep over Trinity Christian Academy jumpstarted the Jesuit Dallas tennis spring schedule, securing the Rangers their first win of 2017 on Tuesday in Addison, Texas.

Tuesday's dominating win over the Trojans exemplified the depth on the Ranger roster, which included victories for senior Joey Cistulli, sophomore Cole Clement alongside freshmen Trey Ashmore and Diego Trejo.

Jesuit Dallas head coach Paul McDaniel commented, "This was a good chance for some of our less experienced players to feel in control in a match for a change." Ranger assistant coach Andy Civello '97 added, "Ashmore and Trejo have been spending a lot of time on court over the break and it shows. Cistulli and Clement are also playing really consistent right now."
 
The Rangers will continue the spring season at the "Ice Bowl" Invitational, set for this weekend in Grapevine, Texas.
