Jesuit Dallas tennis increased its winning streak to five matches with a dominant, 17-1 win over Lake Highlands on Tuesday at The Hockaday School. The Rangers swept their way through doubles competition before capturing 11 of the 12 singles matches in another convincing fall season outing.

Reid Staples jumpstarted Jesuit's afternoon with a 6-1, 6-0 win at top-flight singles, complimented by a 6-0, 6-0 sweep by sophomore

Staples used the momentum from doubles play to cruise in an 8-0, No. 1 singles victory. Platt and Ueshima added 8-0 wins of their own at second and fifth-flight, respectively while Trejo tacked on an 8-4 win at No. 2 singles. Cole won, 8-1 at fourth flight doubles, Ashmore earned an 8-1 decision at sixth flight and Clement picked up an 8-2 victory. Cluck, Ardoin, Gomes and Gan-Dy concluded Jesuit's afternoon with singles wins, sending the Blue and Gold to their fifth consecutive victory.

Jesuit Dallas will compete in two matches next week, opening against Liberty Christian on Tuesday, Sep. 26 at Hockaday. The Rangers will conclude the week on Sep. 28 against W.T. White.
