In a clash of the top two teams in the Texas High School Bowling Association DFW Central Division, Jesuit Dallas used a sweep of the Bakers Games to secure a 12-3 win over Marcus on Saturday at AMF Spare Time Lanes in Arlington, Texas. With the victory, Jesuit remains unbeaten on the year witih a 6-0 record, clinching a season sweep of the Marauders following an 8-7 win on Nov. 6.

Bryce Clark rolled a team-leading 381 series to spark Jesuit to a 4-3 advantage in match play. Clark opened the contest with a 211 in the opening game before closing the contest with a 170 in the nightcap. Junior
Jack Corrales added a 361 series for the Rangers' second match play victory, closing out the two-game set with a 207 in the second game.

Austin Montpas propelled the Rangers to a 1,648-1,517 aggregate pin victory, propelling the Blue and Gold into Bakers with a one-point advantage.

In the first Baker game, Jesuit defeated Marcus, 195-154 to increase the lead to three points. The Rangers secured a 162-143 win in game two to clinch the match before closing Bakers with a 185-130 win in the third game, winning 542-427 to secure the Baker sweep.

Jesuit will return to USA Bowl on Tuesday, Jan. 15 for a matchup against Nimitz. The Rangers will play their next two contests inside the friendly confines of their home lanes as the Rangers will welcome L.D. Bell for a critical district matchup on Jan. 22.
