Jesuit Dallas bowling ended 2019 unbeaten in dual match play with a pair of convincing December wins at USA Bowl. The Rangers scored a 13-2 decision over Nimitz on Dec. 2 before a 14-1 victory over Lewisville on Dec. 9. Jesuit will enter the holiday break with a 7-0 record and have outscored opponents, 91.5-13.5 this season.

Will Risinger kickstarted the Jesuit effort, edging his match play opponent, 321-313. Risinger trailed after the first game, but bowled a 170 in the second game to secure the narrow, seven-pin decision. Classmates
Matthew Vincent and
Jack Corrales scored victories in their dual matches as Vincent earned a 300-196 win while Corrales secured a 373-265 decision.

The Rangers would finish the dual match run with a 1626-1469 final score, earning the additional points heading into the baker games. Jesuit jumped out to a 30-pin lead after the first baker, then erupted for a 182-133 win in the second game to build a 79-pin lead heading into the third. Jesuit's 163-108 win capped a dominant, 524-390 total victory which gave Jesuit all eight baker points to clinch the dominant win.

Silas Hartman led the charge against the Fighting Farmers, scoring a team-high 211 in a split series with Vincent for a 338-196 match play decision. Jesuit finished match play with a 1642-1469 pin total and took a 6-2 lead into baker games, where a 181-116 win in game one propelled the Rangers to a 548-293 baker game total victory.

Jack Holloran combined for a 364-313 win as senior Joey Berven opened his run with a 179 in game one to score a 327-290 decision. Sophomore
Hayden Montpas earned Jesuit's final dual match victory with a 317-265 aggregate total.

Up Next: Jesuit Dallas will take an elongated break after the Christmas holiday before returning to action on Saturday, Jan. 25 against L.D. Bell. The Rangers will close the season with three dual matches before the Blue and Gold head into the Texas High School Bowling Club (THSBC) Regional III Championships to defend their 2019 regional title.
