The Jesuit Dallas varsity lineup swept MacArthur, 9-0, on Tuesday in Irving, helping the tennis team secure a 17-1 overall win over the Cardinals. A dominating performance by the Ranger top six helped pave the way to keep the Blue and Gold unbeaten at the midway point of district competition.

Connor Bryant won his top-flight singles matchup, 6-1, 6-0 to lead off the Jesuit singles contingent. Bryant teamed up with fellow fourth year
Diego Elizondo to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-2, and Elizondo tacked on a 6-1, 6-1 at second-flight singles. Senior
Jonathan Ardoin won at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0 as senior
Calum Taylor added a 6-2, 6-2 victory at fourth-flight singles.

Blake Woodard secured a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles, and junior
Joey Trigiani capped the varsity singles sweep with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph. Ardoin and Taylor teamed up for a 8-3 win in doubles before Woodard and Trigiani scored an 8-2 win.

Jesuit will continue district competition on Oct. 6 against Irving Nimitz before facing a three-day dual match schedule next week. On the 13
th, Jesuit will face off against Berkner before playing on back-to-back days against Nolan Catholic and Irving on Oct. 15 and Oct. 16.
