Jesuit Dallas battled back from a 3-0 deficit before a game-winning goal by junior Santiago Diaz with 1:16 left in the third period was enough to lift the Rangers past the Coppell Cowboys, 6-5, on Thursday at the Farmers Branch StarCenter. Jesuit was led by senior Seth Dragojevic, who became the second member of the team this season to score four goals in a single game as Jesuit snapped its losing skid and garnered momentum ahead of the holiday break.

Dragojevic scored Jesuit's first two goals of the game, adding the game-tying at tentative go-ahead goal late in the third and assisting on Diaz's game-winner. Senior Miles Dikun added Jesuit's third goal of the game while freshman Charlie McCarthy added two assists. Senior Will Carney racked up 34 stops in net while Jesuit kept itself out of penalty trouble, only allowing the Cowboys one power play opportunity.

Jesuit will return to action on Jan. 7, 2021 against Denton County. The 8:30 p.m. puck drop will start a stretch of six games that will conclude the 2020-21 season. The Jan. 7 showdown between the Rangers and Spartans will take place at the Farmers Branch StarCenter.
