Jesuit scored a power play and shorthanded goal as the Rangers were able to secure a 3-0 shutout win over Plano West on Thursday at the Richardson StarCenter. Senior
Miles Dikun scored twice as Jesuit earned its second shutout of the season and stay in the playoff picture with three games remaining in the regular season.

William Carney withstood a bevy of shots from Plano West in the third period, as three power play opportunities resulted in 15 shots from the Wolves. Carney was able to secure the shutout win after Dikun's scored at even strength in the first period and added a power play goal in the second. Sophomore
Kyle Hogan picked up an unassisted, shorthanded goal in the second to give the Rangers an important insurance goal heading into the third. Hogan and sophomore
William Sahadevan assisted on Dikun's first goal, and Carney finished the game with 21 saves.
With the future of the postponed Texas Amateur Hockey Association (TAHA) Division I Pure State Tournament yet to be decided, Jesuit will continue to focus on the final games of the 2020-21 AT&T Metroplex Hockey League regular season. The Rangers will next take on McKinney on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 9:15 p.m. at the StarCenter in McKinney before celebrating senior night on Feb. 11 at Richardson against Keller.
