Jesuit Dallas tennis finished an unbeaten run through District 7-6A with a 9-0 sweep of Richardson on Oct. 5, then ended the fall with a 7-3 record following a 5-4 victory on Oct. 7.
The Rangers swept their way through the Eagles as
Alex Park and
Reid Aaron each secured 4-0, 4-0 sweeps at first and second singles. Both Aaron and Park ended their fall seasons with 3-2 records on the court, and the duo teamed up for a 4-2, 5-3 win at top-flight doubles.
Connor Cole capped a 5-1 fall with a 4-1, 4-1 win at No. 3 singles.
Felipe de Urtubey won at top-flight singles, 6-1, 6-2, to help the Rangers secure four wins in singles play.
Robbie Berven and
Paco Lorenzo captured Jesuit's highest doubles win, battling back for a 1-6, 6-4, 10-2 victory at second-flight singles.
The tennis season will resume in the spring, as Jesuit will aim for its 13th district championship and repeat as District 7-6A champions. The Rangers out-scored district opponents, 38-7 en route to securing a district sweep for the second straight season.
