The Rangers dropped a 13-2 matchup to Flower Mound Marcus on Tuesday at USA Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Jesuit saw a trio of match scores over the 300 mark and two games above 200, but the Marauders took a 5-2 lead into Baker and swept the second portion of the match for the win.
 
Freshman Kevin Martinez led the team with a 396 two-game score, picking up a 31 pin victory for one of Jesuit's two dual match points. In game one, Martinez carried a two-strike run into the 10th, where he completed the turkey in the first roll of the 10th for a 193 in the opener, then collected nine marks in game two for a 203 in the second game.
 
Senior Hayden Montpas scored Jesuit's second match point of the opening stanza, 352-261. Montpas threw a turkey to close out the first game for a 149, then rolled a mid-game turkey in game two to match Martinez's team-high score of 203. Senior John Risinger recorded a 308 (161-147), freshman Christopher Ellis scored a 293 (176-117) and senior Victor Martinez racked up a 252 (118-134) to wrap the Jesuit lineup.
 
Jesuit will return to the lanes on Dec. 11, when the Rangers will square off against Ursuline. The match against the Bears will conclude the fall portion of Jesuit's schedule, after which Jesuit will break for a month before resuming the season on Jan. 15 against Lewisville.
