William Sahadevan, but a last-season equalizer by Frisco East resulted in the Rangers dropping a 3-2 decision in a shotout on Thursday at the Farmers Branch StarCenter.
Sahadevan recorded one goal and one assist, lighting the lamp for the first time this season in the second period.
Alec Rahlfs took over as the team's leading scorer with his sixth tally of the year, adding an assist.
Kyle Hogan increased his overall point lead with an assist, earning his fifth helper and 10th point of the season.
Arthur Trapp tacked on 42 saves in net, including 17 saves in the second period.
Jesuit's season will continue on Thursday as the Rangers will take on McKinney at 7:30 p.m. Puck drop is set for the McKinney StarCenter as the two teams will meet for the third time this season. The Rangers have won both of the previous meetings, securing a 6-2 win over McKinney on Oct. 7 followed by a 3-0 victory on Nov. 11.
