Jesuit Dallas came storming back from a 5-2 deficit in match play, dominating baker games for an 8-7 win over Flower Mound Marcus on Saturday at USA Bowl. A stellar second baker game swung the momentum in favor of the Blue and Gold as the Rangers secured their third consecutive win, and second of the year over the Marauders.

Victor Martinez led off the second baker game with back-to-back strikes, helping the team finish the game with a 209-123 win, a victory that not only gave the Rangers their first lead of the game, but gave Jesuit a near-insurmountable 108-pin lead heading into the decisive third baker game.

The Rangers finished the match play with two victories as junior
Hayden Montpas rolled a team-high 191 in the first game followed by a 168 to secure a 359-273 win in his matchup, while the tandem of juniors
Nicholas Evanich and Martinez combined for a 225 (95-128) in their matchup.

Michael Norris each racked up 134 games, while sophomore
John Risinger bowled a 142 and 129 to finish his two-game set with a 271 total score. Mina wrapped up the Ranger lineup with a 243 (143-100) before making a major splash in Bakers.

Jesuit will return to the lanes on March 6, when the Rangers will face off against the Marauders again for a 1:30 p.m. start.
