Jesuit Dallas hockey secured a historic berth in the 2021 USA Hockey High School Tournament, earning a spot in the championship quarterfinals by advancing out of a three-way tie in the NHL pool on Apr. 17 before seeing their run end with a loss to New Trier Prep (Ill.) the following day.
 
The Rangers took an even zero goal differential into the three-way tiebreaker following a 2-1 loss to North Broward Prep (Fla.) on Apr. 17. Senior Seth Dragojevic scored his 17th goal of the season and third of nationals against the Florida state champion, putting home a feed from junior Santiago Diaz. Junior Charlie Cohen scored Jesuit's lone goal of the national quarterfinal loss to New Trier Prep, assisted by Diaz for the junior's 16th helper of the year.
 
Jesuit closed the year with momentum, taking a four-game winning streak into the national tournament and securing the program's first regional quarterfinal appearance. The Rangers secured the seventh state title in program history to earn their spot on the national stage, upending Allen with a two-game series sweep in the 2021 Texas Amateur Hockey Association (TAHA) Division I Pure State Championship and earning the program's third consecutive state title.
