The Jesuit Dallas tennis team has led off the 2021-22 season with a 4-2 record, including four convincing wins over District 7-6A competition, and enter next week's two-match schedule on a three-match winning streak. Jesuit scored its first district win of the year, 6-3, over J.J. Pearce on Aug. 24, then preceeded to rebound from a setback to Highland Park with wins over Lake Highlands (7-2) and MacArthur (8-1) before sweeping Nimitz, 9-0, on Sept. 14 in Irving.
Sophomore
Alex Park is 2-1 on the year over the team's first six matches, adding a 2-1 mark in doubles competition alongside senior
Reid Aaron. Freshman
Connor Cole has made a splash, earning a 4-1 mark including a 2-0 record at top-flight singles. Fellow freshman
Hudson Chappell has a 2-0 record at No. 2 singles, while Chappell and Cole are unbeaten on the season at top-flight doubles with a 2-0 record.
Jesuit's fall season will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 21 as the Rangers take on Berkner at 4 p.m. The Tuesday afternoon showdown will take place at The Hockaday School. The Rangers will then travel north on Friday, Sept. 24 to take on Allen, a match that will start at 4 p.m.
