Jesuit Dallas bowling controlled the pace of Saturday's dual match against Lewisville from the outset, taking a 6-1 lead into Baker games en route to a 14-1 win over the Farmers on Saturday at USA Bowl. The Rangers move to 3-2 with the win as Jesuit begins the core of the 2021-22 season with its first match of the new year.

Hayden Montpas led the way with a 409-293 win at No. 4 singles. Rolling a team-high 228 in the first game, Montpas tacked on a 181 in the second game for a convincing win in head-to-head competition that aided Jesuit's 1325-1147 aggregate total. Junior
Will Mina rolled a 209, Jesuit's second-highest single game score of the day, in game two for a 360-316 win at No. 3 singles. Seniors

Jesuit dominated in the Baker games, upending Lewisville, 443-314. The Rangers took a 61-pin lead after game one and were able to maintain control over the remaining contests, winning game two 178-166 before a 144-105 closed out a strong performance for the Blue and Gold.

The Rangers will return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 25 against Nimitz. Match play is set to start at 6:30 p.m. at USA Bowl.
