Jesuit Dallas used a pair of first period goals, two power play tallies and a short-handed score to upend Flower Mound/Marcus, 7-0, on Thursday at the StarCenter in Framers Branch. The win provides Jesuit Dallas with its third win of the year as the Rangers have evened their record on the season with three consecutive victories.
Sophomore Andrew Thiesen led the team with two goals and was one of eight point scorers on the night. Senior Kyle Hogan was Jesuit's leading scorer, picking up a goal alongside a team-high two assists for three points on the night. Additional goals were scored by sophomore Gage Gutierrez and junior Jackson Deininger alongside freshmen William Hubbell and Wade Bryan. Senior Chris Sweda and Aden Zirogiannis added assists. Zirogiannis picked up his second shutout of the year with 37 saves in net, including 19 saves in the third period.
The Rangers will return to action on Thursday, Nov. 3 against Frisco West. Puck drop is set for 9:15 p.m. from the StarCenter in Richardson.
