The 2022-23 bowling season started in resounding fashion for Jesuit, as the Rangers secured a 15-0 win over Lake Dallas on Saturday at USA Bowl. The dominant performance began as the Rangers picked up a convincing win in match play before clinching the sweep in a competitive baker game.

Jesuit's top scorer in match play was Christopher Ellis, who racked up a 307 two-game score with a 165 in game one and a 142 in game two. Close behind was John Risinger, who scored a 302 with games of 145 and 157. In split series, William Spicer (112) and Corbin Hicks (126) got the Rangers off and running with a 238-179 win.

Jack Golembeski bowled Jesuit's second-highest game of the day with a 164, combining with a 125 from William Martin for a 289-215 match victory before Chase Hollman (141) and Andrew Abraham (109) closed out the match play sweep with a 250-213 win. Jesuit took a 37-pin lead following the first baker game, and held a 50-pin advantage following the second game before pulling away from Lake Dallas with a 141-97 win in the third baker.

Jesuit will return to the lanes on Nov. 15, when the Blue and Gold take on MacArthur.
