Bowling Dominates Nimitz, Moves to 3-0 on the Season

Jesuit Dallas secured its third shutout of the year with a 15-0 victory over Nimitz on Tuedsay at USA Bowl. The Rangers saw a new season-best score and season-best series recorded by their bowlers as the Blue and Gold opens the year with a 3-0 record following three consecutive sweeps.

Christopher Ellis scored a 214 in the second game of his split series with William Martin. The 214 scored by Ellis is the team's best score of the season, and helped Martin and Ellis score a 344-167 victory.

Kevin Martinez scored a 385 series with a 208 and 177, recording the team's top series of the year thus far. The strong performance led Martinez to a 385-133 win at No. 5 singles. Corbin Hicks recorded a 132, which combined with a 266 from John Risinger led to a 266-170 win at No. 1 singles. Joseph Kohout (139) and Chase Hollman (192) picekd up a 331-214 win and a 314 series from Jack Golembeski (149-165) led to a 314-152 win, helping the Rangers complete the sweep. In bakers, the Rangers built a 61-pin lead following a 162-101 victory in the first game, and were able to bowl their way to a 464-357 sweep in bakers.

Jesuit Dallas will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 10 against Flower Mound Marcus. The match will take place at USA Bowl and will begin at 1:30 p.m.
