The four-member senior class for Jesuit Dallas water polo, consisting of
James Paredes,
Antonio Vela,
Connor McSorley and
Samuel Steffler, combined to score 11 of the team's 12 goals in a 12-5 win over Denton Guyer on Tuesday at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center.
Vela and Paredes led the way with four goals each, as Steffler tacked on three goals on the night. McSorley was a key conributor to the Rangers' transition game, anchoring the defense and holding Guyer to three goals or less in each of the three quarters and blanking the Wildcats in the fourth. Freshman
Tyler Wick and sophomore
Macklin Frary split time in goal as the Rangers secured their seventh win of the season.
The Rangers will return to action on Saturday, Apr. 15, when the Blue and Gold will compete at the Keller Invitational. Jesuit will play four games during the tournament, taking on St. Mark's at 9:30 a.m. and Flower Mound Marcus at 1:30 p.m.
