The Rangers swept their way through doubles en route to a dominant, 22-2 win over Lake Highlands on Tuesday in Dallas. Jesuit improves to 5-1 on the year with the win following another strong, wire-to-wire performance.

The doubles sweep began in resounding fashion as junior Alex Park and sophomore Connor Cole picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at top-flight doubles. Park and Cole would later add wins at singles, with Park winning his No. 1 singles match, 6-0, 6-0, and Cole tacking on a 6-0, 6-1 victory at third-flight singles. Senior Bennett Barron and sophomore Dillon Blanton erupted for a 6-0, 6-1 win at second-flight doubles, while the No. 3 doubles team of freshman Mathis Valenta and sophomore Ben Woodard teamed up for a 6-2, 6-2 win.

Valenta won, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, Barron added a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles, Blanton picked up a 5-4, 7-0, 4-1 win at fifth-flight and Woodard secured a 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 at sixth-flight.

Jesuit Dallas will continue its season on Friday as the Rangers will temporarily step away from district play for a non-district showdown against Frisco Wakeland. First serve is set for 4 p.m. on Friday at The Hockaday School.
