Jesuit and Frisco West reignited their AT&T Metroplex League rivalry on Thursday, and a second period push fell short as Jesuit dropped a 3-0 decision at the McKinney StarCenter.
The Rangers took nine shots in the second period and went 0-for-2 in power play attempts. The Jesuit penalty kill unit was able to eradicate three of Frisco West's four extra-man opportunities, but West jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a 14-shot opening period before tacking on two insurance goals in the third.
Jesuit will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 6 when the Blue and Gold battles McKinney. Puck drop was scheduled for 9:15 p.m. from the McKinney StarCenter.
