A historic season for the Jesuit Dallas water polo team concluded on October 13, as the Rangers bowed out of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region I-6A Tournament with a 19-10 loss to Flower Mound Marcus at LISD Eastside in The Colony.

Teddy Scherer led the way for the Rangers with a team-high four goals, followed by senior
Dominic Arra, who found the back of the net three times during the matchup. Two goals by senior
Jack Schwetz and a tally by sophomore
Sam Kennington wrapped the scoring for the Rangers. Senior
Mack Frary made nine saves during his final start in net.

The 2023 season closes after the Jesuit Dallas water polo team hit a trio of historic firsts. The Rangers secured the first playoff berth in program history, finished as district co-champions for the first time in program history and earned the program's first UIL playoff win with a 25-5 triumph over Denton in the UIL Region I-6A Bi-District Round on Oct. 9.Â
