Jesuit Dallas tennis approached the end of the regular season in resounding fashion, sweeping its way through a double header on Oct. 3. The Rangers picked up a 9-5 win over Longview, and upended Irving with a 12-0 shutout of the Tigers.

The top-flight doubles pairing of junior
Connor Cole and sophomore
Mathis Valenta secured a 6-1, 6-0 victory, while both Cole (6-0, 6-1) and Valenta (6-1, 6-0) earned singles victories.
Dillon Blanton scored a win of his own in singles with a 6-3, 6-3 decision, while Mark Scucchi (6-0, 7-6(2)) and
Luke Nettune (6-2, 6-1) wrapped up victories for the Ranger top six singles.
Brooks Spurgin (8-2) and
Ben Woodard (8-2) wrapped Jesuit's victorious decisions at singles. In doubles, Blanton and Wayne picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles to close out the scoring for Jesuit.

Against Irving, sophomore
Carson Voegtle led the way with an 8-2 decision at top-flight singles, teaming up with freshman Jack Hardy to secure an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles. Hardy earned an 8-0 win of his own at third-flight singles, while junior
Aadhi Anbuchezhiyan (8-2), freshman Dashel Glasgow (8-0), sophomore Sam Creighton (8-0), freshman Branch Dallman (8-0), junior
Neel Manne (8-2) and junior Eli Trauner (8-0) picked up victories in singles.

Jesuit Dallas will finish the 2023 fall season on Oct. 4, when the Rangers resume their dual meet against Lake Highlands. The contest was originally contested in early September but was postponed due to rain. The dual match will re-start at 4 p.m. on Oct. 4.
