Jesuit Dallas secured its spot in the upcoming Texas Bowling Center Association (TBCA) Regional Tournament despite a 14-1 setback to Lewisville on Saturday at USA Bowl. The Rangers conclude a successful regular season with an 8-2 record and will begin the postseason on Feb. 25 at the DFW District Championships.
The Rangers were led by
Kevin Martinez, who bowled a 359 match score (161-198) to earn Jesuit's lone match point of the contest. The Ranger saw additional strong performances by
William Martin, who bowled a 297 (169-128), a 168 from Jack Golembseki who secured a 294 split series with
William Spicer (126), and a 166 from
Chase Hollman, who split a series with
John Risinger (130).
Christopher Ellis (144) and
Corbin Hicks (141) wrapped the Jesuit Dallas lineup.
First roll for the DFW District Championships is set for 1 p.m. at the AMF lanes in Lewisville, Texas. By finishing second in the district, Jesuit addionally qualifies for the regional championships, which will take place on Sunday, Mar. 5 at a location yet to be determined.
