Dominic Arra secured a hat trick and freshman
Charlie Gall scored two goals, but the Rangers were unable to topple Champion as the Blue and Gold fell, 13-8, in the opener of the Crusader Classic on Thursday at Strake Jesuit in Houston, Texas.
Gall and Arra tied for the team lead with six points apiece, as Gall secured a team-leading four assists while Arra picked up three goals and three assists. Senior

Jack Stevens each scored a goal while Stevens picked up a pair of assists. Gall also led the team with four steals.
Jesuit will compete in two games on Friday at the Crusader Classic, beginning with a 4 p.m. battle against hosting Strake Jesuit. The team's Friday schedule will conclude with an 8 p.m. rematch against Champion. The Rangers are set to return to The Gull on Tuesday, Sept. 19, when Jesuit will take on John Paul II.
