Jesuit Dallas dominated JJ Pearce on September 5, upending the Mustangs, 11-6 at J.J. Pearce High School.
 
The Rangers won No. 1 and No. 2 singles, with the duo of juniors Connor Cole and Dillon Blanton leading the way with an 8-2 win at the top flight. Jesuit's No. 2 doubles team of sophomore William Wayne and junior Ben Woodard secured an 8-4 decision.
 
In singles, Cole won his No. 1 singles match, 4-0, 4-1 over Will Stephens. Additional wins came courtesy of Blanton (4-1, 4-0), Wayne (4-1, 4-0) and Woodard (4-2, 4-2), while junior William Burns fought his way to a 4-1, 4-3 (10-2) win.
 
Jesuit will continue to battle district opponents throughout the fall, with the Rangers' next matchup coming on Sept. 12 against Nimitz. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
