The Rangers finished a sweep of District 7-6A with a dominant, 12-0 win over Irving Nimitz on Tuesday, October 1. Jesuit improves its fall dual meet record to 7-1 with the victory, as the Rangers secure their fourth sweep of the season.
 
Freshman Xavier Horler competed as the Rangers' top-flight singles player, securing a 6-0 win over Nimitz's Abner Hernandez. Augustus Chu (6-0), sophomore Benton Arthur (6-3), senior William Burns (6-0), senior Aadhi Anbuchezhiyan (6-2) and freshman Charlie Kennington (6-1) completed Jesuit's top-six singles lineup as senior Eli Trauner (7-5) and junior Santi Bryce (6-0) completed the singles sweep.
 
In doubles, Horler and Chu picked up a 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles, followed by a 7-5 win for Burns and Anbuchezhiyan, a 7-5 decision in favor of Arthur and Kennington and a 6-0 win for Trauner and Bryce.
 
Jesuit will travel to Houston on Friday, October 11 to take on Strake Jesuit.
