The Jesuit Dallas golf team pieced together another incredibly impressive performance, winning the 2024 District Preview Tournament on Tuesday at Firewheel Golf Course in Garland, Texas. The Rangers were led by their gold team, which placed all five golfers within the top-five and additionally boasted the medalist in the tournament, sophomore
Spencer Carter.
Carter won the individual championship with a 73, while junior
Connor Chisum finished close behind with a 74. Senior
Max Chan and junior
Reese Roberts each carded a 75 to finish the tournament tied for third while sophomore
Jack Clancy finished fifth with a 76. The Jesuit gold team totaled a 297 team score to win the tournament championship.
The Jesuit White team placed second with a 318 total team score, led by a fifth-place 76 from junior
Miles Russell. Sophomores

Alex Murray (83) and
Andrew Dominguez (84) wrapped the Jesuit White lineup. Jesuit's blue team finished out the trio of Ranger teams with a 318 during the tournament, finishing third as junior
Tim Sparks turned in a 78 to finish in eighth place.

Jesuit returns to action on Tuesday, March 26 as the Rangers compete in the Tangle Ridge Preview Tournament in Cedar Hill. The Rangers will return to Firewheel for the UIL District 7-6A Championship on Apr. 4-5, as the blue and gold will target back-to-back district championships.
