Jesuit Dallas powered its way to 2-0 to start the 2024-25 season with a convincing, 15-6 win over J.J. Pearce on Tuesday in Richardson. The Rangers have outscored their first two opponents, 24-6 and stood tall while facing a fellow district championship contender.

Dillon Blanton added another point for the Blue and Gold with a 4-1, 4-1 victory at No. 3 singles. Senior
Ben Woodard won his fifth-flight singles match 4-1, 3-4, 1-0 (8) as junior
William Wayne secured a 4-0, 4-0 to help the Rangers win five of the top six singles matches.Â

In doubles, Cole and Blanton won, 8-1 at No. 1 singles, and the duo of Davidson and Wayne earned an 8-3 victory. Additional match winners in singles included
Brooks Spurgin (3-5, 5-3, 1-0 (5)),
Jack Hardy (4-1, 2-4, 1-0 (5)),
Xavier Horler (4-3 (2), 4-2) and
Santi Bryce (4-2, 4-2). In doubles, the duo of Hardy and
Agustus Chu earned an 8-3 win, Aadhi Anbu and Bryce tacked on an 8-5 win, and the pairing of
William Burns and
Eli Trauner secured an 8-2 win.
