The Rangers secured a pair of wins over the weekend, finishing the 2024 Jesuit Dallas Invitational with a 2-3 record. This year's tournament was held from Aug. 29-31 at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center.

On Thursday against St. Mark's, goals were scored by senior
Oliver Miller, sophomore
Charlie Gall and sophomore
Sebastian Lazar. Junior
Cayden Bartusek played three quarters in goal, making six saves while senior
Jackson Powell picked up two saves. The Rangers rebounded in their first game on Friday against Keller, led by a four-goal outing from Miller. Lazar notched a hat trick while Gall (one goal, three assists) and junior
Jack Stevens (two goals, two assists) posted four points apiece. Bartusek erupted for 14 saves in the win.Â

Gall and Lazar scored two goals apiece against Southlake Carroll, with senior
Alexander Adee and Stevens notching one goal apiece. Bartusek added nine saves against the Dragons. Miller and Gall scored two goals apiece against Strake, and Bartusek added 12 saves in the first game of the final day.Â

Jesuit finished the tournament with its highest scoring output of the weekend, as nine Rangers found the back of the net. Gall and Stevens led the way with three goals apiece, with Lazar and junior
Sam Kennington scoring two goals each alongside goals by Adee, Nicosia, senior
Flyn Hughes, junior
Teddy Matthews and senior
Luke Wiley. Gall finished with a team-high six points by adding three assists, with Lazar securing four points with a pair of assists. Bartusek closed out the weekend with four saves and Powell added two saves.

The Rangers return to action on Tuesday, September 3 as the Rangers open UIL District 2-6A play against South Grand Prairie as part of a double header. Jesuit will battle Warriors at 6 p.m, followed by a showdown against John Paul II at 7:15 p.m.
