Water Polo split a pair of contests over the weekend, defeating Keller at home with a dramatic, 8-7 win over Keller before dropping a 15-6 bout to Southlake Carroll.
 
Sophomore Sebastian Lazar led the way against Keller with a hat trick, as sophomore Charlie Gall and junior Jack Stevens scored two goals apiece. Lazar, Stevens, senior Flyn Hughes and senior Alexander Adee each added one assist while Gall led the team with three steals, followed by two steals from junior Oliver Miller. In goal, junior Cayden Bartusek earned the win with a 12-save performance.
 
Gall scored a hat trick against Southlake while additional goals were scored by Miller, Lazar and freshman Ivan Hernandez. Stevens, Miller, freshman Tamer Nino and junior Sam Kennington logged assists while Lazar and Gall snagged two steals apiece. 
 
Jesuit will return to the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center on Wednesday, September 18, when the Rangers welcome Highland Park and Denton Guyer for a double-header. Jesuit and Highland Park will square off in a district match at 5:30 p.m., followed by a non-district tilt against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.
