Keller battled back from a three-goal deficit in the first quarter and ultimately handed the Rangers their second district loss of the season in overtime, 17-13, on Tuesday evening at the Keller ISD Natatorium. The Rangers will take a 4-2 district mark into the homestretch of the season beginning with a senior night showdown against Southlake on Oct. 1 at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center.
 
Junior Jack Stevens led the way with five goals on the night, with senior Flyn Hughes posting a hat trick. Junior Sam Kennington scored two goals as seniors Alexander Adee, Oliver Miller and sophomore Sebastian Lazar scored one goal each. Lazar added three assists, and Kennington picked up five steals. Junior Cayden Bartusek played the first half in goal for the Rangers, making eight saves before senior Jackson Powell took over in the second half, making five saves.
 
The Rangers will face off against Southlake Carroll on Tuesday at The Gull, aiming to split the season series against the Dragons. Prior to first sprint, the Jesuit Dallas water polo team will recognize and honor its six-member senior class.
