Jesuit tennis improved to 3-0 on the year, edging Lake Highlands, 11-10 on Thursday afternoon at Lake Highlands H.S.
 
Senior Connor Cole went 2-0 on the day, winning his top-flight singles match, 8-0 before teaming up with fellow fourth year Dillon Blanton for an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Blanton would tack on an 8-4 win at No. 3 singles. Freshman Van Davidson (8-2), junior William Wayne (8-1) and senior Ben Woodard (8-1) helped Jesuit complete a sweep of the top five singles matches.
 
Woodard and junior Luke Nettune won at third-flight doubles, 8-5, and the pairing of sophomore Jack Hardy and sophomore Branch Dallman earned an 8-2 win over the Wildcats. Jesuit's final doubles win was secured by the duo of senior Aadhi Anbu and freshman Agustus Chu, who earned an 8-3 decision. Hardy (8-4) and Anbu (9-7) added Jesuit's final two singles wins of the afternoon.
 
District play continues for the Rangers on Tuesday, September 10 when the Blue and Gold travels to Irving to battle MacArthur.
