The Jesuit Dallas bowling team won its first match in 2025 and improved its winning streak to three matches with a 10-5 victory over Flower Mound Marcus on Saturday at AMF Lewisville. The Rangers came storming back from a three-point deficit with a complete sweep of baker games, securing a major comeback that improves Jesuit to 5-1 on the year heading into the homestretch of the 2024-25 season.

In match play, Jesuit was led by senior
Kevin Martinez, who won his match, 387-352. Martinez opened his run with a 174, followed by a team-high 213 in th his second game. Junior
Henry Elms picked up Jesuit's second win of match play, 344-308, entering the second game with a four-pin deficit and outscoring his opponent by 40 in the nightcap to secure the victory.Â

Jack Golembeski bowled a 195 in the first game but lost his match, 383-350, and the pairing of senior
Beau Bureau-Mitchell (159) and junior
Joseph Kohout (190) fell, 379-349. Seniors

Judd Katz (145) bowled Jesuit's final match of the afternoon, dropping a 437-293 decision. Jesuit began baker games with a 27-pin advantage before opening the lead with a 188-143 win in game two. Jesuit put the game out of reach in the third baker, unloading with a 43 that not only was 122 pins ahead of the Marauders' third game, but gave the Rangers the 601-407 aggregate win and the points that flipped the game in favor of the Blue and Gold.

Jesuit returns to action on Saturday, January 25 against MacArthur. First roll is set for 10 a.m. at the Bowlero Dallas in Addison.
