The 2025 Jesuit Dallas cycling season continues to move into high-gear as Jesuit Dallas competed at several high-profile events, including several Tuesday Turbo Velo Criterium races, the Midwestern State University road race on April 5-6 and the Jesuit Ranger Roundup Road Race on April 13.
Freshman
Nicholas Carter led the charge for the Rangers during the April 1 crit race, crossing the line in eighth place during the "C" race with a 20:37.9. Jesuit's lineup was concluded by
Andrew Wilkes (31st, 21:32),
Max DeGroote (33rd),
Reid Starnes (34th) and Austin Dourty (35th). Carter added a 27th place finish on April 8, crossing the finish line in 22:08.6. DeGroote (36th), Wilkes (37th), Dourty (39th) and Starnes (37th) rounded out the lineup. Carter would secure another eighth place finish on April 15 as the lineup was completed by Starnes in 31st place.

Jesuit traveled to Wichita Falls, Texas for the Midwestern State University race weekend, which comprised of three races over three days. In the omnium (total aggregate finish) standings, Carter finished in second place in Category C while DeGroote captured a victory in the Collegiate D category. Starnes wrapped up Jesuit's lineup with a fifth-place finish in Category D. DeGroote secured top-two finishes in all three events, including wins in a 40-minute crit and a 22-mile road race while Carter finished third during his 25-minute crit and 44-mile road race.

On April 13, Jesuit hosted the annual Jesuit Ranger Roundup Road Race in Celina. Carter closed out the 32-mile Collegiate C race in second place to highlight Jesuit's racers during a stacked weekend that also saw the Rangers host the Armeaux Crit Race on April 12.

The Tuesday Turbo Velo Criterium races will continue Tuesday, April 22 before Jesuit begins to turn its attention to the postseason run at the Criterium State Championship in Austin, Texas on April 26. The final NICA Mountain Bike regular season race will take place on April 27 before the state championships are held on May 3-4 in Burnet, Texas.
