Cayden Bartusek made 15 saves and
Charlie Gall had eight goals to lead Jesuit past Highland Park, 14-5, at the David A Segal Family Aquatic Center on Wednesday.
Jesuit won its third-consecutive contest and improved to 11-11-1 on the season and 3-1 in District 3-6A action. The Rangers host Southlake Carroll on at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning in a battle between the top two teams in the district.
On Wednesday, the teams played even for the first 10 minutes before the Rangers tied it at three on an
Aiden Reardon shot and then took control on two from Gall, including a length-of-the pool shot as time expired for a 5-3 lead. From there, Jesuit extended the lead to 9-4 with scores from
Jack Stevens and Gall.
The Rangers locked down their end of the pool and didn't allow a Scot goal in the final 6:36 of the contest.
