CYPRESS, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas wrestling team finished in 12th place at the 23rd annual Cy-Fair ISD Invitational over the weekend. Three players posted top eight performances with senior Kingston Stephens winning the 113-pound weight class.

The Rangers were 12th out of 92 teams at the event.

Dash Llana claimed fifth place in the 120-pound class and Alex Shomin was eighth in the 132-pound bracket.

Stephens improved to 25-0 on the season with his fourth tournament title. He defeated Kenneth Nichols of Klein, 8-4, in the finals. He made history by surpassing to 100-win plateau at the varsity level with his first win on Friday.

The Rangers will be back in action this Wednesday, Jan. 7 with a quad match at Arlington H.S. against Arlington, Arlington Martin and Prosper Rock Hill.
