PLANO, Texas - Jesuit Dallas junior
Maxwell Reynolds scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner 5:19 into overtime to help the Rangers defeat Prosper, 3-2, in the second game of round robin postseason play at the Children's Health StarCenter on Wednesday.
The extra session became necessary when Prosper tied the game at 2-2 with 2:49 left in the third.
Jesuit outshot Prosper 35-20, including 3-0 in overtime.
The Rangers got on the board first when senior

Victor Laos three minutes into the game. The Eagles tied it midway through the second period.
In the third period, Jesuit regained the lead when Reynolds shoved the puck into the net in the middle of a large scrum of bodies,

Thomas Strand made 18 saves in goal for Jesuit.
The Rangers will now face Birdville in the final game of round robin play next Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 9:00 p.m. at the Plano StarCenter.
