COPPELL, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas tennis team had five players collect top three finishes in the singles and double divisions at the Coppell HS Break Out Tournament on Friday.
Van Davidson won four matches, including three straight-set victories to claim the Boys Elite singles title. He used a 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 tiebreak win in the finals to defeat Gautam Panguluri of Frisco Emerson.
The Rangers had a pair of doubles teams advance in various flights as well.
William Wayne and Augustus Chu took third in the Boys A Division and
Carson Voegtle and
Xavier Horler were the runner-ups in the B Division.
