Sophomore Van Davidson was dominant in winning his four matches over the 2-day event, only dropping 10 games in each of his straight-set victories. He defeated Brody Wolson of Richardson, Titus Leeth of Nimitz and Parker Divenuti of Lake Highlands on his way to the finals. There he secured a 6-0, 6-3 win over Graham Pearson of Richardson for his second district championship after teaming with Dillon Blanton for the doubles title last year.

They reached the final match with wins over Nimitz's Diego Trejo and Cristian Urbina and Richardson's Stephen Hill and Avery Morrison. In the finals, they fell 6-2, 6-3 to the Lake Highlands duo of Knox Stinson and Raj Gaitonde.

Jesuit Dallas will send the three athletes to the regional championship tournament, set for April 16-17 in McKinney at The Courts of McKinney.
