SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Jesuit Dallas standout Van Davidson was eliminated in the opening round of the University interscholastic League 6A State Tennis Championships on Thursday. He fell to Liam Collins of Stratford High School, 6-1, 6-3, in the round of 16 at the Northside Tennis Center.

Davidson advanced to the state tournament by winning the district title and the third place match at the regional tournament.
