LEWISVILLE, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas water polo team played two solid games on the first day of the 2026 season, falling to Marcus 16-14 in double overtime before defeating Guyer 26-19 at the Westside Aquatic Center on Tuesday.

Aidan Reardon led the Rangers with 11 goals on the day, including eight against the Wildcats. Charlie Gall added seven goals for the Blue and Gold.

Marcus scored the first three goals of the game and held leads of 4-3, 8-5 and 9-8 at the end of each of the first three quarters. The game was tied four times.

In the extra session, the Marauders had a 2-1 edge in the first overtime and scored the only goal of the final period.

In the Guyer contest, Jesuit outscored the Wildcats 11-2 in the third quarter to take control of the game, 19-10. Guyer got on the scoreboard first before Jesuit responded with scores from Raymond Zhang, Ivan Hernandez and Reardon to grab a lead it never relinquished.
