DALLAS - The Jesuit Water Polo team scored the first nine goals on its way to a 23-9 victory over Richland in the district 3-6A opened for both teams at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center on Tuesday.

After each team started play with a turnover, the Rangers then found the back of the net on four of their next six possessions for a 4-0 lead. They extended the lead to 9-1 at the half before a 10-goal outburst in the third stretched the margin to 19-4.

Nine different players scored for the Blue and Gold. Aidan Reardon had seven while Mateo Combs and Ben Durgin scored four times.

Jesuit (6-5, 1-0) will return to play twice later this week, beginning Friday at Walnut Grove. The Rangers will host Highland Park on Saturday at 10 a.m.
